Strengths:
Weakness
Connections: In the lesson plan you will find a checklist and designed problems that demand from the learner, and acquisition of critical knowledge
Deviations: Also in this model you will find more in depth information on the subject being taught taking away from the critical thinking of the students
Adjustments: If i had taught this lesson i would have made the students do most of the work so they would have to find additional knowledge for the subject.
- Students can use what they learn to make real-world connections
- Students are forced to take full responsibility for their own learning, which increases motivation
- Encourage group collaboration and peer evaluation
Weakness
- Teacher must monitor students throughout the entire process
- Teachers have to fill in gaps for the students who have no prior knowledge
